The University of Washington Molecular Engineering Materials Center (UW MEM·C), an NSF MRSEC research center, maintains a number of facilities providing students, faculty, and industry access to state-of-the-art equipment. Capabilities include microscopy, spectroscopy, materials synthesis and 2D device fabrication. Users can be trained to independently perform experiments, or an experienced superuser can perform them for you.
Information about the MEM·C’s instrumentation and links are provided below, or through the links at the top of the page.
UW MEM·C is part of the Materials Research Facilities Network (MRFN). The primary goal of the program is to maximize the use of advanced characterization facilities within the greater scientific community. Please visit MRFN for comprehensive information.
